The heritage community of Madeira Wine Traditions is widely dispersed, spanning over 60 countries across all continents, and its true size remains uncertain. Help us bring it together. Help us bring it together.
We are looking for Ambassadors who are willing to embrace the cause of safeguarding the Madeira Wine Traditions, regardless of their nationality, the community they belong to, or where they live.
The expected role of an ambassador is:
- Publicize the application and raise awareness among interested groups and communities about the importance of this initiative, to help preserve the Madeira Wine Traditions, through social media, public sessions, and other means.
- Make known the Charter for the Safeguarding of Madeira Wine Traditions and its purpose, encouraging as many people as possible to subscribe to it.
- Raise awareness among those interested in the viability of Madeira Wine traditions about the importance of giving their consent to the application.
- Support the preparation of Letters of Consent.
- Give your testimonial, explaining why you believe the candidacy aligns with the principles and objectives of the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
