Itinerary: To reach the parish of Estreito de Câmara de Lobos from Funchal, take the VR1 westbound and exit at Estreito de Câmara de Lobos. Continue on the local roads uphill, passing through the town centre and heading north. The Figueira area is located in the higher rural part of the parish. The journey takes about 20 to 25 minutes.
Route conditions: This is a moderately difficult walk. Comfortable footwear is recommended.
