Véu da Noiva Vineyard

The visit is led by a family deeply rooted in Madeira’s winemaking tradition, crossing a landscape shaped by the Laurissilva forest and offering stunning views over Seixal and the iconic Véu da Noiva waterfall.

Living the Tradition: The Experience

We offer a one-hour guided visit to a traditional, family-run vineyard set within the striking landscape of Seixal, on Madeira’s north coast.

Along the way, you can discover unique heroic viticulture practices that set Madeira wine apart — grown on stepped terraces (poios), beneath vine-covered arbors, and based on manual knowledge passed down through generations.

The visit is led by a family deeply rooted in Madeira’s winemaking tradition, passing through a landscape marked by heather hedges that protect the vine-covered arbors, the Laurissilva forest, and offering breathtaking views over Seixal and the iconic Véu da Noiva waterfall.

The final moment includes a tasting of 10-year-old Sercial Madeira wine, produced from grapes grown on the property, paired with cheese from a local producer — along with a small surprise designed to end the experience on a special note.

This is more than just a vineyard visit — it’s a cultural journey that contributes to the regeneration of Madeira’s winemaking heritage.
